Disassembly

Note: Before the disassembly process make sure the device is powered off.

1. Remove the SIM tray.
2. Use a heat gun to warm up the adhesive securing the back cover.
3. Use a plastic tool to gently pry and remove the back cover.
4. Remove the fourteen Phillips screws securing the mid-frame to the phone.
5. Remove the Connector's cover.

Battery Replacement

2. Use a pry tool to gently lift the battery out of its compartment.
3. Place the new battery into the battery compartment and connect the battery connector to the motherboard. Reassemble the device following the above instructions in reverse order.

Screen Replacement

After the initial disassembly steps, if you want to replace the screen:

1. Disconnect the screen connector from the motherboard.
2. Use a heat gun to warm up the adhesive securing the screen to the frame.
3. Use a plastic tool to gently pry and remove the screen from frame.
4. Align the new screen with the frame and use a firm, even pressure to secure it. Reassemble the device following the above instructions in reverse order.
