Follow these steps meticulously for a successful replacement:
Remove the back cover of the device by sliding it downwards. Then remove the battery by lifting it out from the bottom.
Start by removing the 2 small screws at the top of the phone. Then use the safe pry tool to unclip the frame from the body of the phone.
Several ribbons need to be disconnected from the motherboard. Carefully use the safe pry tool to do this. Starting with the ribbon to the screen, gently lift the pop connector to release the ribbon.
After all connections are released, the motherboard should easily lift away from the main body of the phone.
Apply these instructions in reverse order to reassemble your Blackberry 8800 with its new parts.
Note: Always check each function before fully reassembling the device to ensure every component is working properly.
