Instructions for Replacing BlackBerry 9100

Tools Needed:

Small Phillips Screwdriver, Plastic Opening Tools, Tweezers

Procedure:

1. Turn off the BlackBerry 9100 and remove the battery cover and battery.
2. Remove the two small Phillips screws at the top of the phone.
3. Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry and remove the front cover of the BlackBerry 9100.
4. Detach the LCD screen's ribbon cable from the motherboard using tweezers. Be careful not to damage the ribbon cable.
5. Gently remove the LCD screen from the BlackBerry 9100
6. Replace the defective screen with the new screen.
7. Reconnect the new LCD screen's ribbon cable to the motherboard.
8. Reassemble the BlackBerry 9100 by reversing the above steps.
