Instructions for Replacing BlackBerry 9100
Tools Needed:
Small Phillips Screwdriver, Plastic Opening Tools, Tweezers
Procedure:
- Turn off the BlackBerry 9100 and remove the battery cover and battery.
- Remove the two small Phillips screws at the top of the phone.
- Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry and remove the front cover of the BlackBerry 9100.
- Detach the LCD screen's ribbon cable from the motherboard using tweezers. Be careful not to damage the ribbon cable.
- Gently remove the LCD screen from the BlackBerry 9100
- Replace the defective screen with the new screen.
- Reconnect the new LCD screen's ribbon cable to the motherboard.
- Reassemble the BlackBerry 9100 by reversing the above steps.
