    Instructions for Replacing Blackberry 9500

    Before starting, make sure you have the necessary tools: a T6 Torx screwdriver, a plastic opening tool, a new Blackberry 9500 component, and a safe open pry tool.

    Step 1: Power Off the Device

    Before you start disassembling, ensure that your Blackberry 9500 is switched off to prevent any damage.

    Step 2: Remove the Back Cover and Battery

    Use your fingernails to press on the button and slide down the back cover, then lift out the battery.

    Step 3: Remove Screws

    With the T6 Torx screwdriver, unscrew the four screws found at the back of the phone.

    Step 4: Prise the Chassis off

    Insert the safe pry tool into the gap between the silver rim and the black back cover on the phone and lift it off.

    Step 5: Remove the Front Cover

    Use the opening tool to gently unclip the front cover of the phone from the back.

    Step 6: Replace the Component

    At this point, you should have access to the faulty component. Remove the faulty component and replace with the new one.

    Step 7: Reassemble the Phone

    Put back the front cover, screw back the chassis, place the battery back in, and finally slide the back cover back on.
