Instructions for Replacing Blackberry 9700

Please ensure that you have the necessary tools; a T5 Torx screwdriver, Small Phillips screwdriver, Opening tools, and a Blackberry 9700 replacement part.

Step One: Battery Removal

Turn off the Blackberry 9700 and remove the back cover to reveal the battery. Simply lift the battery out of the phone.

Step Two: Removing Cover

Remove the two screws at the top of the phone using a T5 Torx screwdriver. Use the opening tool to pry off the bottom plastic cover.

Step Three: Losing the Front Case

Remove the four screws securing the front case using a Small Phillips screwdriver. Lift the LCD screen assembly from the front of the case.

Step Four: Replacing the Blackberry 9700

Replace the old phone with the new one, making sure that all the connectors are properly aligned and all the hardware screws are tightened. Then, repeat the opening steps in reverse order to put back together the parts previously removed.
