Instructions on How to Replace a Blackberry Q10

Please be aware that smartphone repairs should be done by a professional or under professional supervision. Follow these steps at your own risk.

Step 1: Power Off Your BlackBerry Q10

Before starting with the replacement process, make sure you have powered off your BlackBerry Q10 to prevent any electrical damages. Press and hold the power button until you see the option to power off, then select it.

Step 2: Remove the Battery Cover

At the back of the device, there's a small slit at the bottom. Use it to pry the battery cover open.

    Step 3: Remove the Battery

After removing the cover, you'll see the battery. Just below the battery, there's a small slit. Use it to pry the battery out.

Step 4: Remove All The Screws

With the battery out, you'll now see a total of 2 T5 Torx screws. Remove all the screws. The screws are of different lengths so remember the position of every screw.

Step 5: Detach The LCD Screen

With the aid of a plastic opening tool, carefully start peeling off the touchscreen from the frame.

Step 6: Replace The LCD Screen

Place the new LCD screen into the frame and gently press it in until it's fitting snugly.

    Step 7: Reassemble

Follow the disassembly steps in reverse to reassemble your phone. Use the screws removed earlier to secure the screen and case.

Once your device is put back together, power it on to ensure everything is functioning as expected. If not, consult with a professional.
