Removing the Back Panel

• Remove the back panel.

Removing the Battery

• Peel off any tape securing the battery.
• Remove the battery by prying it with a plastic opening tool or your fingernails.

Removing the Midframe

• Use a small screwdriver to remove any screws connecting the midframe to the device.
• Prise up the midframe, taking care of any clips that may be holding it down.

Disconnecting and Reconnecting the Flex Cable

• Locate the flex cable connecting the device and the midframe.
• Use your plastic opening tool or fingernails to carefully disconnect the flex cable.
• To reconnect, align the cable to its port and gently push it back into place.

Re-assembling the Blackberry Q5
