Steps to Follow

Before starting make sure to backup your device and turn it off.

1. Removing the Back Cover

   Use the plastic opening tool to gently pry the back cover from the phone. Start from the bottom and work your way around the phone.

2. Removing the Battery

   Next, remove the battery from the phone by lifting it from the bottom side.

3. Remove the Screws

   Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the nine screws from the back of the phone.

4. Remove the Screen

   Gently use the Spudger tool to lift the internal frame. Carefully disconnect the cables connecting the screen to the motherboard. Lift the damaged screen away from the phone.

5. Install the New Screen

   Connect the new screen to the motherboard, make sure the connections are secure. Lower the internal frame onto the phone.

6. Replace the Screws

   Replace the nine screws to secure the internal frame to the phone.

7. Replace the Battery and Back Cover

   Insert the battery back into the phone and snap the back cover onto the phone.
