Screen Replacement
Ensure the device is off.
- Remove any external casing and clean the device to ensure it is free from any dust or debris.
- Using a pry tool, carefully separate the back cover from the frame of the phone, working your way around the perimeter.
- Remove any screws securing the battery and lift it out. Disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
- Remove the screws around the outer edges of the phone to remove the screen panel.
- Disconnect the screen's flex cable from the motherboard and remove the damaged screen.
- Attach the replacement screen by connecting the flex cable to the motherboard. Secure it with screws around the edge of the phone.
- Replace the battery, connecting it back to the motherboard and secure any screws.
- Attach the back cover, pressing firmly to ensure it adheres to the frame of the phone.
Battery Replacement
Again, make sure that the device is off.
- Follow the same steps as above until the battery is disconnected and lifted out.
- Place the new battery in the battery compartment and connect it to the motherboard. Secure it with the necessary screws.
- Proceed as before to complete the back cover reattachment.
