    Replacing the LCD Display

    • Remove the back cover by unscrewing the 14 screws around the border of the device with a T4 Torx screwdriver.
    • Once open, disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
    • Locate the LCD display connector and disengage it using a plastic opening tool.
    • Remove the broken LCD display.
    • Replace it with a new one, ensuring to secure it in place.
    • Reconnect the LCD display and battery connectors to the motherboard.
    • Screw the back cover back into place.

    Replacing the Battery

    • Unscrew the 14 screws holding the back cover in place using a T4 Torx screwdriver and remove the back cover.
    • Locate the battery connector on the motherboard and unplug it.
    • Using a plastic tool, gently pry out the battery.
    • Insert the new battery and reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard.
    • Reattach the back cover and screw it into place.
