Instructions to Replace BQ Aquaris V

    Precautions

Before you start, ensure you have the necessary tools (small Phillips screwdriver, tweezers, spudger and plastic opening tools). Be sure the phone is powered off and unplugged from any power source.

Step 1: Remove the SIM Card and SD Card

Start by popping out the SIM card and SD card trays from the side of the BQ Aquaris V. Then keep them in a safe location.

    Step 2: Opening the Phone

Heat the edges of the back cover just enough to soften the adhesive. Once the back cover starts to loosen, proceed to gently but firmly pry it off using a plastic opening tool.

    Step 3: Removing the Battery

Remove the screws securing the battery using your screwdriver. Then, carefully disconnect the battery connector. With the spudger, gently lift the battery and remove it.

Step 4: Replacing the Screen or other Internal Parts

To replace the screen, remove the screws securing the screen and disconnect the screen connector. Insert the new screen, secure the screws, and connect the screen connector.

Other internal parts like the camera, speaker, or motherboard can also be replaced now following a similar screw removal, connector disconnect, and new part insertion process.

    Step 5: Reassembly

Once component replacement is done, reassemble the phone by first placing the battery, securing it and connecting the battery connector followed by securing the back cover carefully. Do not force the parts together; they should fit together easily. Insert the SIM and SD cards back into place.

Power on the device to make sure every function is working properly.
