Preparation

• Protect the front and back covers of the smartphone with a heat-insulating tape or similar, to prevent scratches.

Opening the Device

• Use a heat gun to warm the edges of the smartphone to about 60°C. This will soften the adhesive securing the back cover.
• Place a suction cup on the back of the device and gently lift it. Insert a plastic pryer in the small gap and glide it around the edges to fully remove the back cover.

Replacing Components

• To replace the battery: Find and remove any screws holding the battery. Gently lift it up using a pryer, disconnect the connector and replace it with the new one.
