    Tools Required

    You will need a heat gun, a small Phillips-head screwdriver, plastic opening tools, tweezers, and a replacement part.

    Step 1: Removing the back cover

    Heat the edges of the back cover for a minute or two with a hot air gun. Then use a plastic opening tool to gently pry the back cover off the body of the phone.

    Step 2: Removing the battery

    Remove the screws securing the battery with your Phillips head screwdriver. Then, gently pry up the battery using the plastic opening tool, disconnect the battery connector using tweezers and remove the battery.

    Step 3: Replacing the repuesto

    Locate the damaged part that needs to be replaced. If its camera, display, or chipset then disconnect the connector of the part using tweezers. Remove the part using the plastic tool.

    Step 4: Installing the new repuesto

    Place the new part in the same place where you removed the old one. Make sure it is properly connected or screwed in.

    Step 5: Reassembling the phone

    Connect back the battery, put back the screws and snap the back cover back into place.
