• P2 Pentalobe Screwdriver
• Phillips #00 Screwdriver
• Spudger
• Plastic Opening Tools

Step-By-Step Guide

Before starting the process, make sure to turn off your iPhone 4.

1. Remove the two Pentalobe screws next to the dock connector on the bottom of the iPhone.
2. Push the rear panel toward the top of the iPhone and remove the rear panel.
3. Remove the Phillips screw securing the battery to the motherboard.
   Note: This screw is attached to a metal bracket.
4. Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry the battery connector up from the motherboard.
5. Use the clear plastic pull tab to lift the battery out of the iPhone.
6. Replace the old battery with the new battery from the Repuestos iPhone 4 kit.
7. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly. Make sure to properly reattach all connectors before finally reconnecting the battery.
