The following are the detailed instructions on how to replace an iPhone 6S. Please note that a specialized toolkit is required for the process, and utmost care is necessary throughout to avoid accidental damage.
Before breaking apart your device, always ensure that it is turned off to avoid any electrical damage.
Remove the two pentalobe screws located at the bottom of the iPhone, next to the charging port.
Apply a suction cup to the bottom left corner of the device and carefully pry the screen open up to about a 45-degree angle.
Use a specialized screwdriver to unscrew the cover that protects the battery connector. Carefully disconnect the battery.
Remove the cover from the top right corner that protects the screen connectors. Then, carefully disconnect these connectors.
Connect the new screen's connectors to the phone, and screw back the cover. After that, reattach the battery connector and its cover.
Close the phone by applying pressure around its contour. Insert the pentalobe screws back in.
Turn the phone back on to check functionality. If everything is in order, the repair has been successful.
