    • Spudger
    • Tweezers
    • Opening picks
    • Suction Handle

    Screen Replacement Procedure

Follow these steps to replace the iPhone 7's screen:

    • Power off your iPhone 7 before beginning disassembly. Remove the two 3.4 mm pentalobe screws next to the lightning connector.
    • Use a suction handle to gently pull up the screen, take caution not to pull up too much, it's still connected to the phone body.
    • Use the spudger to disconnect the connectors holding the screen.
    • After all the connectors are disconnected, you can fully remove the broken screen.
    • Before installing the new screen, remove any remaining adhesive from the phone frame, then apply a new set of adhesive.
    • Connect the new screen to the phone body using the previous connectors and gently test if the screen is working properly before finalizing the installation.
    • Finally, reattach the two pentalobe screws next to the lightning connector.

Always remember to take your time and go slow. Some parts might need gentle persuasion to come apart.

Note: Always disconnect the battery before starting a repair and keep track of your screws, they are different sizes and using the wrong one can damage your device.
