    Materials Needed

    • Suction Cup
    • Opening Picks
    • Phillips #000 Screwdriver
    • iPhone 8 Replacement Screen

    Step-by-Step Instructions:

    1. To begin, remove the two pentalobe screws at the bottom of the phone.

    2. Use a suction cup and plastic opening tool to carefully prise up the screen, taking care not to damage the cables connected to it.

    3. Once the screen is loose, remove the four Phillips screws securing the bracket that covers the battery and display cables. Then, remove the bracket itself.

    4. Disconnect the battery tab first before disconnecting the display tabs.

    5. Connect your new phone screen's cables to the mainboard, then reconnect the battery tab.

    6. After testing the new screen, re-attach the metal bracket and re-insert the four screws you removed earlier.

    7. Carefully set the phone screen back into place and re-insert the two pentalobe screws at the bottom of the phone.
