    Replacing the Screen

    • Turn off the iPhone and unscrew the two 6.7 mm pentalobe screws at either side of the Lightning connector.

    • Unscrew the five screws securing the logic board connector bracket and remove the bracket.
    • Use a spudger to disconnect the battery connector, followed by the display cable, and digitizer cable connector.
    • Remove the old display.
    • Install the new display by connecting it to the digitizer cable connector and battery connector.
    • Re-secure the logic board connector bracket and screw in the five screws.
    • Close the iPhone and re-secure the pentalobe screws.

    Replacing the Battery

    • Begin as per screen replacement above, until the battery connector is disconnected.
    • Remove the two screws from the battery connector bracket and then remove the bracket itself.
    • Use a spudger to gently pry battery from the adhesive securing it to the phone.
    • Pull out the old battery and replace it with a new one.
    • Re-secure the battery connector bracket and its screws.
    • Reconnect the battery connector, along with digitizer and display connectors.
    • Close the iPhone and re-secure the pentalobe screws.
