- Step 3: Then, remove the five Phillips #00 screws securing the logic board. This will allow you to safely lift the board out of the device.
- Step 4: Carefully lift and remove the battery. Replace it with the new one, ensuring its correct positioning.
- Step 5: Reinstall the logic board by setting it in place, and then secure it with the removed screws.
- Step 6: Reconnect the battery connector and close the device by aligning and pressing the two halves together.
Once you've completed these steps, power up your iPod Nano 4 to ensure the successful installation of the new part. If the iPod doesn’t power up, revisit the steps above to ensure everything was properly connected.
