Instructions for Replacing Repuestos iPod Nano 4

Note: Proceed with caution, as any improper handling can lead to further damage to the device.

    Tools needed:

    • Phillips #00 Screwdriver
    • Plastic Opening Tools
    • Spudger

    Step-by-Step Instructions:

Ensure your device is switched off before starting the replacement process.

    • Step 1: Start by utilising the plastic opening tools to gently pry open the device. Start from the edge, sliding the tool around to unhinge the clips holding the device together.
    • Step 2: After the device is open, locate the battery connector and carefully disconnect it with the help of the spudger.
    • Step 3: Then, remove the five Phillips #00 screws securing the logic board. This will allow you to safely lift the board out of the device.
    • Step 4: Carefully lift and remove the battery. Replace it with the new one, ensuring its correct positioning.
    • Step 5: Reinstall the logic board by setting it in place, and then secure it with the removed screws.
    • Step 6: Reconnect the battery connector and close the device by aligning and pressing the two halves together.

Once you've completed these steps, power up your iPod Nano 4 to ensure the successful installation of the new part. If the iPod doesn’t power up, revisit the steps above to ensure everything was properly connected.
