Ensure your Lenovo A806 is completely powered off to prevent any accidental short circuits or damage to internal components.
Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry off the back cover. Start from one corner and work your way around the edges to release the clips holding the cover in place.
The battery in Lenovo A806 is non-removable; however, if you need to access internal components, carefully disconnect the battery connector using a spudger to avoid any damage. Do not force it, and take your time.
Using a small Phillips-head screwdriver, remove all visible screws securing the midframe. Keep track of the screws as they might be of different sizes.
Use a spudger tool to carefully separate the midframe from the front assembly. Carefully release any clips around the edges to avoid breaking the midframe.
Disconnect all ribbon cables and connectors attached to the motherboard. Use the plastic tools to gently lift the connectors from their sockets without applying excessive force.
Identify and remove the defective parts you need to replace (e.g., screen, camera module). Carefully install the new parts, ensuring all connectors align correctly and are securely attached.
Reconnect all ribbon cables and connectors to the motherboard. Ensure everything is securely attached. Place the midframe back and press it gently until all clips are securely fastened. Reinsert all the screws you removed earlier.
Snap the back cover into place, ensuring all edges are aligned and the cover is securely attached without any gaps.
Press the power button to turn on your Lenovo A806 and verify that the replacement parts are functioning correctly.
