    Follow the instructions below step by step.

    Tools Required

    • Plastic Opening Tools
    • Phillips Screwdriver
    • Eject Pin
    • Suction Cup

    Instructions

    Note: Please power off your Motorola Moto G100 before beginning the disassembly.

    1. Removing the SIM card and the back cover

    2. Use the eject pin to remove the SIM card tray. Apply a heated iOpener to the back cover to loosen the adhesive. Then, use a suction cup and plastic opening tool to carefully pry the back cover off. Remember to start from the bottom.

    3. Removing the Battery

    4. Remove all the screws securing the middle frame using the Phillips screwdriver. Use the plastic tool to disconnect the battery connector and then the battery. Repeat the process if you're replacing the battery.

    5. Removing the Mainboard

    6. First, carefully disconnect all the connectors on the motherboard. Once done, remove the screws securing it and proceed to lift it from the frame.

    7. Dismantling the Camera

    8. Disconnect the camera connector carefully and pry the camera assembly from the housing. If you're replacing the camera assembly, use the new camera module and connect it back to the motherboard.

    9. Reassemble the device

    10. Do all steps in reverse order to put the other components back together. Be extra careful while connecting the connectors back to the motherboard.
