Instructions for Replacing Nokia N96 Repuestos

    Before you start

Before starting the repair, ensure you have the necessary tools including small Phillips and T5 screwdrivers, a safe open pry tool and consider wearing ESD-Safe gloves to prevent static electricity damaging your device.

    Removing the Battery

To begin, make sure to switch off your Nokia N96. Gently slide off the battery cover, remove the battery, the SIM and your microSD card if any.

    Removing the Screen

    • Step 1: With the battery compartment empty, locate the four Phillips screws on the back of the phone, two at the top and two at the bottom. Use the Philips screwdriver to remove them.
    • Step 2: At this point, you should be able to gently open the back cover. Use the pry tool to apply gentle pressure and separate it from the front cover.
    • Step 3: Next, remove the display holder. You can now access the LCD bracket screws. Remove these and carefully lift out the screen.

    Replacing the Screen

After removing the old screen, set the new one in its place by following the above instructions to remove the screen in reverse order.

    Note

Every time you put a piece back, ensure that it fits in perfectly and that you've not missed any screws.

    Final Step

Test your phone to make sure everything is working fine.
