• Step 3: Use a suction cup and a plastic pry tool to gently lift the back panel. Start from the bottom edge and work your way around the panel to avoid damaging the fingerprint sensor connected to the motherboard.
• Step 4: Disconnect the battery connector first to ensure there is no power running through the device.
• Step 5: Remove the screws securing the plastic cover over the battery connector and other components. Carefully lift and remove the cover.
• Step 6: Carefully pull the adhesive tabs at the bottom of the battery. Pull slowly and steadily to avoid breaking the adhesive strip. If the adhesive is difficult to remove, use isopropyl alcohol to weaken the adhesive.
• Step 7: Once the adhesive is removed, gently lift and remove the old battery from the phone. Be cautious not to bend or puncture the battery.
• Step 8: Install the new battery by aligning it properly in the battery compartment. Press down lightly to secure it in place.
• Step 9: Reconnect the battery connector and replace the plastic cover. Screw it back into place securely.
