Instructions for Replacing OnePlus Nord 2 5G Parts
Preparation
- Power off your OnePlus Nord 2 5G.
- Gather necessary tools: a precision screwdriver set, plastic opening tools, tweezers, suction cup, and replacement parts.
- Work on a clean, flat surface with adequate lighting.
Replacing the Screen
- Step 1: Remove the SIM tray using the SIM ejector tool.
- Step 2: Unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the phone near the charging port.
- Step 3: Use a suction cup to gently separate the back cover from the phone frame.
- Step 4: Gradually work a plastic opening tool around the edges to unclip the back cover. Take care not to damage any internal components.
- Step 5: Disconnect the battery connector using a plastic tool to avoid short circuits.
- Step 6: Unscrew and remove the metal shields covering the motherboard connectors.
- Step 7: Disconnect the display connector from the motherboard.
