    Instructions for Replacing OnePlus Nord 2 5G Parts

    Preparation

    • Power off your OnePlus Nord 2 5G.
    • Gather necessary tools: a precision screwdriver set, plastic opening tools, tweezers, suction cup, and replacement parts.
    • Work on a clean, flat surface with adequate lighting.

    Replacing the Screen

    • Step 1: Remove the SIM tray using the SIM ejector tool.
    • Step 2: Unscrew the two screws at the bottom of the phone near the charging port.
    • Step 3: Use a suction cup to gently separate the back cover from the phone frame.
    • Step 4: Gradually work a plastic opening tool around the edges to unclip the back cover. Take care not to damage any internal components.
    • Step 5: Disconnect the battery connector using a plastic tool to avoid short circuits.
    • Step 6: Unscrew and remove the metal shields covering the motherboard connectors.
    • Step 7: Disconnect the display connector from the motherboard.
    • Step 8: Use a heat gun to warm the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive.
    • Step 9: Pry up the screen carefully with a plastic opening tool, removing the old screen.
    • Step 10: Clean the frame of any adhesive residue and place the new screen aligning it carefully.
    • Step 11: Reconnect the display connector and reassemble the phone in reverse order of disassembly.

    Replacing the Battery

    • Step 1: Follow steps 1 to 5 from the screen replacement instructions to open the device and disconnect the battery.
    • Step 2: Locate the pull tabs for the battery adhesive strips.
    • Step 3: Gently pull the tabs to loosen the battery adhesive. If necessary, use a spudger to lift the battery.
    • Step 4: Insert the new battery and press it firmly to ensure it adheres properly.
    • Step 5: Reconnect the battery connector and reassemble the phone.

    Replacing the Camera Module

    • Step 2: Disconnect the camera module connectors from the motherboard.
    • Step 3: Remove any screws or clips holding the camera modules in place.
    • Step 4: Carefully remove the old camera modules.
