- Step 8: Snap the back cover back into place and reinsert the SIM card tray.
Replacing the Screen
Ensure the device is turned off before beginning the screen replacement process.
- Step 1: Remove the SIM card tray with a SIM ejector tool.
- Step 2: Gently heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive using a heat gun or hairdryer.
- Step 3: Use a suction cup and a plastic prying tool to lift the screen from the frame of the device.
- Step 4: Unscrew and remove the screws securing the display connector shield.
- Step 5: Disconnect the display connector from the motherboard.
- Step 6: Remove the old screen and place the new screen in position.
