    1. Preparation

    2. Back Cover Removal

    • Use the heat gun or hair dryer to heat the edges of the back cover to soften the adhesive.
    • Insert a plastic opening tool between the back cover and the frame. Gently work your way around the edges to lift the cover.
    • Once the adhesive is sufficiently loosened, carefully lift the back cover off.

    3. Disconnect Battery

    • Remove any screws securing the battery connector shield using a precision screwdriver.
    • Lift the shield to reveal the battery connector.
    • Use a plastic tool to disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.

    4. Remove Internal Components

    • Remove screws securing the internal plastic covers and shields.
    • Carefully disconnect ribbon cables and connectors using tweezers or a plastic tool. Label or memorize their positions.
    • Lift out internal components such as the motherboard, cameras, and other modular parts as needed.

    5. Replace the Desired Component

    • Install the new component in the same orientation as the original part.
    • Reconnect all ribbon cables and connectors securely.

    6. Reassemble the Device

    • Replace all internal covers and shields, securing them with screws.
    • Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard.
    • Position the back cover correctly and press it into place. Apply gentle, even pressure to ensure the adhesive bonds properly.
    • If necessary, reheat the edges to improve the adhesive seal.

    7. Test the Device

    • Power on the Oppo A5 2020.
    • Test all functionalities related to the replaced component to ensure proper installation.
