1. Tools Required
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Plastic opening tools
- Suction cup
- Tweezers
- Heat gun or hairdryer
- Adhesive strips
2. Steps to Replace the Display
- Power off the Oppo Find X2 Lite and remove the SIM card tray.
- Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive.
- Place a suction cup near the edge of the screen to lift the display slightly.
- Insert a plastic opening tool into the gap and slowly work your way around the device to detach the display.
- Once the display is loose, carefully lift it away from the device, ensuring not to damage the ribbon cables.
- Disconnect the ribbon cables connecting the display to the motherboard using tweezers.
- Remove the old display and replace it with the new one.
- Reconnect the ribbon cables to the motherboard, ensuring they are firmly in place.
- Carefully align the new display and press it into place, ensuring the adhesive is secure.
- Turn on the device to check the new display functionality.
- If everything works correctly, reinsert the SIM card tray.
3. Steps to Replace the Battery
- Power off the Oppo Find X2 Lite and remove the SIM card tray.
- Use a heat gun or hairdryer to gently heat the back cover to soften the adhesive.
- Use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly, then insert a plastic opening tool to release the adhesive.
- Once the back cover is removed, unscrew the screws securing the battery connector shield using a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Disconnect the battery connector using tweezers or a plastic tool.
- Lift the adhesive pull tabs to remove the battery from the device. If the adhesive is stubborn, use a heat gun to soften it.
- Place the new battery into the compartment and connect the battery connector.
- Secure the battery connector shield with the screws you previously removed.
- Reattach the back cover by gently pressing it into place, ensuring the adhesive is secure.
- Turn on the device to check the new battery functionality.
- If everything works correctly, reinsert the SIM card tray.
