Replacing the Screen
- Turn off the device and remove the SIM card tray.
- Use a heat gun or a hairdryer to soften the adhesive around the edges of the screen.
- Carefully use a plastic opening tool to lift the screen from the frame, starting at one corner.
- Disconnect the screen's flex cable from the motherboard gently.
- Remove the old screen and align the new screen in place.
- Connect the new screen's flex cable to the motherboard.
- Gently press the screen into the frame, ensuring it's aligned correctly.
- Power on the device to test the new screen. If it works, turn it off and reassemble any remaining components.
Replacing the Battery
- Turn off the device and remove the SIM card tray.
- Unscrew and remove the back cover using an appropriate screwdriver.
- Locate the battery connector and gently disconnect it from the motherboard.
- Use a plastic tool to carefully pry the battery out of its adhesive. Do not use metal tools to avoid puncturing the battery.
- Remove the old battery and place the new battery in position.
- Reconnect the battery connector to the motherboard.
- Screw the back cover back onto the device securely.
