- Reinsert the SIM card tray and power on the device to test the new screen.
2. Replacing the Battery
- Power off the device.
- Remove the SIM card tray using a SIM ejector tool.
- Use a heat gun or hairdryer to warm the back panel edges for about 2-3 minutes.
- Utilize a plastic prying tool to carefully lift and remove the back panel.
- Detach the battery connector using a plastic spudger to avoid short circuits.
- Gently pull the adhesive tabs to detach the battery from the housing. If it's stuck, consider using some isopropyl alcohol to weaken the adhesive.
- Remove the old battery and set it aside.
- Place the new battery in its position and connect the battery connector to the motherboard.
- Reattach the back panel, ensuring it fits snugly, and power on the device to ensure functionality.
3. Replacing the Camera Module
- Power off the device.
- Remove the SIM card tray using a SIM ejector tool.
- Utilize a heat gun or hairdryer to warm the back panel edges for about 2-3 minutes.
- Use a plastic prying tool to carefully remove the back panel.
- Locate the camera module and disconnect its connector using a plastic spudger.
