Please follow these detailed instructions to replace the repuestos (spare parts) of the Oppo Reno 8 5G:
Tools Required:
- Plastic Pry Tools
- Suction Cup
- Phillips #00 Screwdriver
- Sim Card Ejector
- ESD-Safe Tweezers
- Spudger
1. Screen Replacement
- Power off the Oppo Reno 8 5G.
- Use the Sim Card Ejector to remove the SIM tray.
- Apply a suction cup to the lower end of the screen to lift it slightly.
- Insert a plastic pry tool into the gap and gently work your way around the device to loosen the adhesive.
- Lift the screen but do not separate it entirely yet.
- Using the Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove all screws securing the shield plates on the display connectors.
- Disconnect the display cable using ESD-safe tweezers.
- Remove the old screen and replace it with the new screen.
- Reconnect the display cable and secure the shield plates with screws.
- Gently press the new screen into place to ensure a proper fit.
- Reinsert the SIM tray and power on the device to test the new screen.
2. Battery Replacement
- Power off the Oppo Reno 8 5G and remove the back cover using the plastic pry tool.
- Remove the screws securing the battery bracket using the Phillips #00 screwdriver.
- Disconnect the battery connector carefully using the spudger.
- Use the pull tabs on the battery to lift it out. If the battery is hard to remove, use a plastic pry tool to gently lift it, taking care not to damage other components.
