- Unscrew the protective plates covering the motherboard and remove them.
- Disconnect all ribbon cables attached to the motherboard (display, camera, fingerprint sensor, etc.).
- Gently pry the motherboard out using a plastic tool.
Step 4: Replace the Desired Components
- Identify the component you need to replace (e.g., display, camera, charging port).
- Carefully remove the old component by unscrewing and disconnecting it from the motherboard.
- Replace it with the new component, ensuring all connectors snap securely into place.
Step 5: Reassemble the Device
- Place the motherboard back into its original position.
- Reconnect all ribbon cables to the motherboard.
- Screw the protective plates back over the motherboard.
- Reconnect the battery connector and place the battery back into its compartment.
Step 6: Final Steps
- Screw back all the screws securing the battery and other components.
- Snap the back cover back onto the device, ensuring all clips are engaged.
- Turn on the device to ensure it is functioning correctly with the new components.
