Below are detailed instructions to assist you in replacing the various components of the Oukitel K9. Please ensure you have the necessary tools and take all necessary precautions to avoid damage or injury.
Tools Needed:
- Phillips #00 Screwdriver
- Plastic Pry Tool
- SIM Card Eject Tool
- Suction Cup
- Spudger
Steps to Replace the Battery
- Step 1: Power off the device.
- Step 2: Remove the SIM card tray using the SIM card eject tool.
- Step 3: Use a suction cup to lift the back cover slightly, then insert a plastic pry tool and gently work your way around to unclip the cover.
- Step 4: Remove the screws securing the battery connector shield using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
- Step 5: Disconnect the battery connector using a spudger.
- Step 6: Lift the battery carefully using the plastic pry tool. Be mindful of the adhesive securing the battery.
- Step 7: Insert the new battery and connect the battery connector back.
- Step 8: Screw back the battery connector shield.
- Step 9: Reattach the back cover by pressing around the edges to ensure it snaps back into place.
- Step 10: Insert the SIM card tray back into the device.
- Step 11: Power on the device to verify the replacement was successful.
Steps to Replace the Display
- Step 1: Power off the device.
- Step 2: Remove the SIM card tray using the SIM card eject tool.

- Step 9: Carefully remove the display.
- Step 10: Place the new display into the frame and connect the display connector.
- Step 11: Reconnect the battery connector and screw back the battery connector shield.
- Step 12: Reattach the back cover by pressing around the edges to ensure it snaps back into place.
- Step 13: Insert the SIM card tray back into the device.
- Step 14: Power on the device to verify the replacement was successful.
