    Step 4: Remove the Midframe

    Use a plastic opening tool to pry up and remove the midframe. Lift it out of the phone.

    Step 5: Disconnect Ribbon Cables

    Using the flat end of a spudger or tweezers, disconnect the ribbon cables attached to the motherboard.

    Step 6: Replace the Faulty Part

    Replace the faulty part and then follow the steps in reverse to reassemble your phone.
