Given the age of this device, you might find yourself in need of replacing some parts, also known as repuestos. Follow these steps:
Please ensure to disconnect all power connections before beginning
Start by removing the back cover. Do this by getting a good hold on the device and applying gentle, even pressure along the edges where the back and the front parts meet.
Once the back cover is removed, you will see the battery. Carefully lift and remove the battery.
With the battery out, a series of small Phillips screws will be visible on the midframe. Use your screwdriver to carefully remove each screw.
Once the screws are out, use your plastic opening tool to gently pry and remove the midframe.
With the midframe removed, you now have access to the main components of the phone. Carefully locate and replace the part you wish. Some parts may require additional unscrewing or careful prying with your tweezers.
After replacing the necessary parts, simply reverse the steps to reassemble your device, making sure to replace all screws and accessories, reconnect your battery, and securely attach your back cover.
These instructions should aid you in replacing most parts on the Samsung Galaxy Trend I699. Some parts, however, may be more difficult and will require professional service.
