    Step-By-Step Instructions

    Please ensure you switch off the phone before starting. Keep the repair workspace clean and use ESD-safe tools.

    Step 1: Remove Back Cover

    • Use the plastic opening tool to gently pry the back cover.
    • Apply gentle heat with a hot air blower in case the adhesive is tough.
    • Lift the back cover off, moving slowly to avoid tearing the flex cable.

    Step 2: Disconnect the Battery Cable

    • Use the Spudger tool to disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.

    Step 3: Remove the Damaged Component

    • Find the damaged component and carefully unscrew it using your Phillips screwdriver.
    • Use the Spudger to gently lift up and disconnect the flex cable.

    Step 4: Install the New Component

    • Place the new replacement component in the empty slot.
    • Reconnect the flex cables and screw it back using your Phillips screwdriver.

    Step 5: Reassemble

    • Reconnect the battery cable and attach the back cover using a warmed adhesive or double-sided adhesive tape.
    • Switch on the phone and test the new component.
