Step-by-Step Instructions
- Power Off: Ensure the device is completely powered off before starting any disassembly.
- Remove SIM and MicroSD Tray: Using a SIM ejector tool, remove the SIM card and MicroSD card tray from the side of the phone.
- Remove Back Cover: Using a plastic opening tool and a suction cup, carefully separate the back cover from the phone. Start at the corner and gently work your way around all sides to pry it open without damaging the clips and latches.
- Disconnect Battery: Unscrew the small Phillips screws securing the battery connector shield. Once the shield is removed, use a spudger to carefully disconnect the battery connector.
- Remove Battery: Gently pry the battery out using a plastic card or spudger. Be careful not to puncture or bend the battery.
- Disconnect Cables: Disconnect any other flex cables connected to the motherboard such as the display, charging port, and camera connectors using a spudger.
- Remove Screws and Motherboard: Remove all visible Phillips screws securing the motherboard. Carefully lift the motherboard out of the frame using a spudger or plastic tool. Be mindful of any hidden screws or connectors.
- Replace the Necessary Parts: Replace or repair the required component (e.g., screen, camera module) by reversing the disassembly steps for the specific part.
- Reassembly: After replacing the necessary parts, follow the steps in reverse order to reassemble the phone, ensuring all connectors are properly attached and all screws are tightened.
- Test the Device: Once reassembled, power on the device to ensure all functions are working correctly and that the new part is properly installed.
