    Instructions on How to Replace the Screen of Sony Xperia XA Ultra

    Tools Required:

    • Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
    • Phillips screwdriver (PH00)
    • Plastic opening tools
    • Suction cup
    • Tweezers
    • Pry tool
    • Replacement screen

    Step-by-Step Instructions:

    Step 1: Power off the phone and remove the SIM card tray and microSD card tray using the SIM eject tool.

    Step 2: Use the pentalobe screwdriver to remove the two screws located on the bottom of the device.

    Step 3: Apply a suction cup to the bottom part of the screen and gently pull to create a small gap between the screen and the frame.

    Step 4: Insert the plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully work your way around the edges to release the clips securing the screen to the frame.

    Step 5: Once the screen is detached, do not pull it away immediately. Open the device gently as there are cables still connected.

    Step 6: Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the metal shield over the connectors. Carefully lift the metal shield away.

    Step 7: Disconnect the battery connector to ensure there is no power running through the device while you work.

    Step 8: Use tweezers or a spudger to disconnect the screen connectors from the motherboard.

    Step 9: Carefully remove the old screen completely from the device.

    Step 10: Take the new replacement screen and connect its connectors to the motherboard.

    Step 11: Reattach the metal shield over the connectors and secure it with the screws.

    Step 12: Reconnect the battery connector.

    Step 13: Carefully align the new screen with the frame and press it into place, securing all clips properly.

    Step 14: Use the pentalobe screwdriver to reinsert the two screws at the bottom of the device.

    Step 15: Reinsert the SIM card tray and microSD card tray.

    Step 16: Power on the device to ensure the new screen is functioning properly.
