Replacing the Screen
- Step 1: Power off the device and remove the SIM card tray.
- Step 2: Use a heat gun to heat the edges of the screen to soften the adhesive.
- Step 3: Carefully use a suction cup and a plastic pry tool to lift and separate the screen from the chassis.
- Step 4: Disconnect the display flex cable to completely detach the screen.
- Step 5: Connect the new screen by attaching the display flex cable and firmly press the new screen into place.
- Step 6: Reinsert the SIM card tray and power on the device to test the new screen.
Replacing the Battery
- Step 1: Power off the device and remove the SIM card tray.
- Step 2: Heat the back cover with a heat gun to loosen the adhesive.
- Step 3: Use a plastic pry tool to carefully lift the back cover away from the chassis.
- Step 4: Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard.
- Step 5: Use the pull tabs or carefully pry the battery away from its adhesive.
- Step 6: Place the new battery in position and connect its connector to the motherboard.
- Step 7: Secure the back cover by pressing it firmly and uniformly against the chassis.
