    • Phillips screwdriver
    • Plastic spudger
    • Suction cup
    • Adhesive strips or double-sided adhesive tape
    • Tweezers
    • Heating pad or hair dryer

    Step-by-Step Instructions:

    1. Power Off the Phone

Ensure the device is completely powered off before beginning any repair.

    2. Remove the SIM Card Tray

Use a SIM card ejection tool or a paperclip to remove the SIM card tray.

    3. Heat the Edges of the Screen

Use a heating pad or hair dryer to soften the adhesive around the edges of the screen. Heat the edges for about 1-2 minutes in a continuous, even motion.

    4. Use a Suction Cup and Spudger to Lift the Screen

Place a suction cup on the bottom portion of the display. Gently lift to create a gap between the display and the frame. Insert a plastic spudger into the gap and slowly work your way around the screen to separate it from the adhesive.

    5. Disconnect the Ribbon Cables

Once the screen is loosened, carefully lift it and locate the ribbon cables connecting the screen to the motherboard. Use tweezers to disconnect these cables.

    6. Remove the Display Assembly

Fully remove the screen from the device once all ribbon cables are disconnected.

    7. Prepare the Replacement Screen

Apply new adhesive strips or double-sided tape around the edges of the frame.

    8. Connect the Ribbon Cables to the New Screen

Carefully attach the ribbon cables from the new screen to the corresponding connectors on the motherboard. Ensure they are securely fastened.

    9. Align and Place the New Screen

Align the new screen with the edges of the frame and press it down gently to secure it to the adhesive.

    10. Reinsert the SIM Card Tray

Place the SIM card tray back into its slot.

    11. Power On the Phone

Turn on the phone and test the new screen to ensure it is functioning correctly.

Congratulations! You have successfully replaced the screen on your Sony Xperia XZ Premium.
