The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a 6.0-inch P-OLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. It offers HDR support and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The battery in the Sony Xperia XZ3 is a non-removable Li-Ion 3330 mAh battery that supports fast charging (Quick Charge 3.0) and wireless charging.
The rear camera module features a 19 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, capable of recording 4K HDR and 960fps slow-motion videos. The front camera is a 13 MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture.
The back cover is made of glass (Gorilla Glass 5) and is firmly attached to the chassis, providing a sleek and seamless design.
Turn off the phone and remove the SIM card tray to avoid any unintentional damage.
Use a heat gun or hairdryer to evenly heat the edges of the back cover for about 1-2 minutes. This will soften the adhesive holding the back cover in place.
Apply a suction cup near the edge of the back cover and gently pull up to create a gap. Insert the plastic opening tool into the gap and carefully slide it around the edges to release the adhesive. Lift the back cover slowly to avoid damaging the wireless charging coil and the fingerprint sensor flex cable.
Once the back cover is lifted, use the tweezers to carefully disconnect the fingerprint sensor flex cable from the motherboard.
Once the desired component is replaced, reassemble the device by reversing the disassembly steps. Ensure that all connectors are securely reattached.
Apply new adhesive strips around the edges of the back cover. Carefully align and press the back cover into place. Apply gentle pressure for a few minutes to ensure that the adhesive bonds properly.
Reinsert the SIM card tray, and turn on your Sony Xperia XZ3 to check if the replacement was successful.
Congratulations, you have successfully replaced the components of your Sony Xperia XZ3!
