    UMI F1 Play Repuestos Replacement Guide

    Follow the below steps for successful replacement process:

    Tools Required

    • Small Phillips Screwdriver
    • Small Flathead Screwdriver
    • Plastic Pry Tool
    • Eject Pin

    Steps for Replacement

    Note: Ensure your phone is switched off and disconnected from any power source before starting.

    1. Remove the SIM card tray using the Eject Pin.
    2. Unscrew the two screws at the base of the phone with a Phillips Screwdriver.
    3. Use a Plastic Pry Tool to separate the back cover from the phone. Apply gentle pressure and move along the edges.
    4. Locate the battery connector and unplug it.
    5. Unscrew and remove the protective metal plate over the ribbon cable connector.
    6. Unplug the ribbon cable that connects the battery to the motherboard.
    7. Remove the old battery.
    8. Place the new battery and reconnect the ribbon cable and the battery connector.
    9. Screw back the protective metal plate over the ribbon cable connector.
    10. Replace back the cover carefully. Apply gentle pressure to snap in the cover.
    11. Replace the two screws at the base of the phone.
    12. Insert back the SIM card tray.

    Turn on your phone to check if the new parts are working properly.

    Caution

    Ensure to handle the internal components of the phone with caution. Any forced pressure can result in permanent damage.
