Before proceeding, ensure that you have the required replacement parts and appropriate tools ready.

Step 1: Remove the SIM Tray

Firstly, turn off your UMI Z phone. Then, use the SIM tray ejector tool to remove the tray by inserting it into the small hole next to the tray and pushing it firmly.

Step 2: Open the Phone Case

Next, securely grip the edges of your phone and gently to pry the back cover using an opening tool. Start from one edge, then slowly work your way around the phone. Be careful to avoid damaging any internals.

Step 3: Remove the Battery

Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard. Then, cautiously lift and remove the battery.

Step 4: Replace the Desired Component

Identify the part you wish to replace. If it's a module connected to the motherboard, carefully disconnect it, then replace it with the new part.

Step 5: Reassemble the Phone

Once you have replaced the necessary components, follow the disassembly steps in reverse. First reconnect the battery, then fit the back cover and secure it. Finally, insert the SIM tray back into its slot.
