    Step 1: Removing the Back Cover

    Turn off the device. Using the plastic opening tool, gently pry around the edges of the back cover until it comes loose.

    Step 2: Removing the Battery

    Remove the screws securing the battery connector. Then, gently lift and disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard. Carefully pry up the battery and remove.

    Step 3: Replacing the Display
