    • Spudger Tool
    • Eject Pin for SIM tray

    Display Replacement

    Disclaimer: The process of replacing the screen, can be complicated and could potentially damage the phone if not done carefully. Prior to the repair process, ensure a new display assembly, and all the aforementioned tools are available.

    1. Power off the device. Remove the SIM tray using the eject pin.
    2. Apply heat evenly around the edges of the back cover using the heat gun. This will loosen the adhesive.
    3. Use the pry tool to gently lift the back cover. Be careful not to damage any internal parts.
    4. Unscrew all visible screws with the Philips #00 screwdriver.
    5. Detach the battery connector using the spudger tool.
    6. Remove all the screws securing the display connector.
    7. Detach the display connector using the spudger tool. Now, you can remove the old display.
    8. Attach the new display to the display connector.
    9. Screw back all the screws, reattach the battery connector and replace the back cover.
    10. Power on the device to confirm the display is working correctly.
