• Precision Philips screwdriver
• Plastic pry tool
• Spudger
• Tweezers

Removing the Back Cover

First, ensure to turn off your device. Then, remove the SIM card tray. Depress the clip with your pry tool while gently lifting the edge of the back case to avoid breaking the clips.

Disconnecting the Battery

Unscrew all the visible screws using your Philips screwdriver. Carefully lift the protective plastic to access the connectors. Then, use your spudger tool to disconnect the connector from the motherboard.

Replacing the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Screen

Disconnect all the connectors attached to the screen. Once done, unscrew the screws holding the screen to the frame. Carefully lift the faulty screen away and replace it with your new one.
