Instructions to Replace Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro

Tools Needed

• Phillips #000 screwdriver
• Plastic opening tools
• Tweezers
• SIM Card Eject Tool
• Hot air gun or a similar heat source

Replacement Procedure

Caution: Be sure to power off your phone before starting this procedure.

Remove the SIM card:

• Push the SIM card eject tool into the hole on the SIM card tray, located on the left side of the phone.
• Pull the tray out and set it aside.

Remove the back cover:

• Insert a plastic opening tool between the back cover and the frame of the phone.
• Pry the back cover up gently and work your way around the phone until it comes free.

Remove the battery:

• Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the battery.
• Lift the battery out of its compartment.

Remove the motherboard:

• Remove all screws securing the motherboard using the Phillips #000 screwdriver.
• Lift the motherboard out carefully, making sure all connectors are free.

Install the new motherboard:

• Carefully place the new motherboard in its compartment.
• Replace all screws using the Phillips #000 screwdriver.

Install the new battery:

• Place the new battery in its compartment.
• Screw it down using the Phillips #000 screwdriver.

Reassemble the phone:

• Put the back cover back on the phone, making sure it clicks into place.
• Insert the SIM card tray back into its slot.

Power the phone on to check if it works.
