Procedure

1. Turn off the phone and remove the SIM tray.
2. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to apply heat around the edges of the back cover, then carefully lift the back cover using a plastic opening tool or your fingernails.
3. Loosen the screws holding the protective plate, then remove it.
4. Disconnect the battery from the motherboard, and carefully remove the battery using the nylon thread as a cutter to slide underneath and loosen any adhesive.
5. Follow similar steps to remove and replace any other parts as needed (i.e., camera, motherboard, etc.).
6. Securely reconnect all the disconnected items and screw on the protective plate.
7. Reattach the back cover and secure the phone.
