Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Power Off the Phone

Press and hold the power button on the side to switch off the mobile.

Step 2: Remove Back Cover

Apply the heat gun around the edges of the back cover for about 60 seconds. Then use a plastic prying tool to gently lift up the back cover.

Step 3: Remove Battery

Unscrew the screws securing the battery connector and use the prying tool to disconnect it. Gently lift out the battery.

Step 4: Replace Parts

Now you can replace the required parts. If you're changing the screen, remove all screws from the sides of the screen and disconnect the ribbon cable with tweezers. Replace with the new screen and connect the ribbon back.

Step 5: Reassembly

Once the intended component has been replaced, start by reconnecting the battery and close the back cover. Before screwing everything back together, turn on the phone to check if everything is working as expected.
