Instructions to Replace ZTE Axon Mini

Before beginning, ensure you have the necessary tools: a small Phillips screwdriver, a pry opening tool, and a new part for your ZTE Axon Mini. Proceed with caution to avoid any injury or further device damage.

Step 1: Switch Off Your Phone

Before you begin the repair, ensure your device is completely powered off to avoid damaging the device.

Step 2: Remove the Back Cover

At the rear, locate the small notch at the bottom of the phone. Insert the pry opening tool into the notch and gently lift the cover.

    Step 3: Remove the Battery

Find and undo the screws securing the battery unit. Using the pry tool, gently lift the battery out of its space.

Step 4: Unplug the Display Connector

Locate the display connector on the motherboard. Unplug it carefully by lifting the retaining clip and pulling out the connector.

    Step 5: Remove the Display

At this point, you can securely remove the display from the device. Take care not to damage the connector cable.

Step 6: Attach the New Display

Now, reattach the connector cable to the new display and place it back into the device. Make sure it settles properly in its location.

    Step 7: Reassemble

Replace and secure the battery followed by carefully attaching the back cover. Make sure everything fits back into shape and all screws are tightened.

Step 8: Power On Your Phone

Turn on your phone to confirm that the new display functions correctly. If the display does not work or the device won't power on, you may need to recheck your assembly process.
