    Tools Needed

    • Tweezers
    • Opening tool or prying tool

    Replacement Procedure

    Step 1: Make sure the device is powered off and unplugged from any power source.

    Step 2: Remove the two screws at the bottom of the phone with the screwdriver.

    Step 3: Use the opening tool to carefully separate the display assembly from the phone frame. Start from the bottom and gently move around the perimeter.

    Step 4: Once the display assembly is removed, locate and unscrew the screws that are holding the metal shield in place. Remove the shield.

    Step 5: Now, you have the access to the battery, which is typically glued down. Carefully lift the battery using the pry tool and disconnect it from the motherboard using tweezers.

    Step 6: To replace the screen, first, disconnect the display connector from the motherboard. Next, remove the old screen and place the new one aligning it with the frame. Plug the display connector into the motherboard.

    Step 7: Replace all parts in reverse order to reassemble your phone. Make sure every screw is tightened, and every part is in its right place.

    Turn on your phone to check if the new parts installed work perfectly.
